Use Case
The Rolling Stock Management Centre (CGER) of the Quebec Ministry of Transport wanted to install a custom-made rotational platform on a truck, as well as a digger derrick equipped with a hammer and crane for handling the derrick. The organization wanted this equipment to enable workers assigned to install road signs along high-traffic roads to work safely while increasing their efficiency. It was essential that the equipment meet the highest manufacturing standards to ensure safety.
This turnkey project involved designing, manufacturing, and installing several pieces of equipment on the rear bumper of the signal truck.
When designing the rotating bridge, we had to take into account the truck’s centre of gravity and accommodate the technical manufacturing requirements of the rotating bridge and its equipment with the mechanics of the truck’s braking system.
