Bombardier, a world leader in the aeronautics industry, needed to install a new assembly line at its plant located at 1800 Marcel-Laurin Boulevard (Saint-Laurent, Quebec).
The mandate was to design and build a custom industrial workstation for assembling the cockpit and fuselage of the aircraft. Listening carefully to the client’s specific needs, we designed and manufactured two towers containing a lifting platform. This industrial equipment gave workers the ability to safely access the desired locations
Specifications:
- Lifting capacity: 1,500 lb for each tower
- Steel structure of the industrial workstation
- 600-volt unit
- 160 in elevation
- Guidance system that can follow the shape of the aircraft
- Constant elevation of the telescopic cylinder (single action)
- Safety on all doors
- Programmable electronics for managing safety
